As part of the dance program at Flex & Pointe, a performance is given at year-end to celebrate the accomplishments and growth each student achieves throughout our dance year (September through June). Our recital is intended to instill a sense of pride in our students - building esteem, assurance, and confidence. As a learning tool, it helps develop retention skills, and by working with their classmates on their group routine, they learn the positive aspects of working as a team to create the best end result. While we encourage all students to participate, it is not mandatory to be in the performance.
Held on a Saturday evening in June at Dominican University's Performing Arts Center in River Forest, our year end performance is more than a dance recital. We strive to present the most organized, entertaining production in two hours or less. Our goal is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for you, your child, family, and friends.
